The very first visitors to Selva Verde were explorers and investigators - seeking to learn as much as possible about the rainforest, its ecology, its wildlife, and its people. Today Selva Verde serves as an ideal base for educational programs of all kinds. We work with schools, universities, and other organizations to blend nature, adventure, and culture into exciting learning opportunities.

Our close proximity to San Jose, OTS La Selva Biological Station, and several of Costa Rica's famous national parks allow access to extended learning and exploration.
