This is a lovely and very helpful essay about this beautiful bird. I do have some questions about theme (Golden Masked or Hooded Tanager, Tangara larvata)

Do both the male and female construct the nest? What do they feed the hatchlings? How long are the offspring in communal or parental care? What is the breeding range of this Tanager, and are they residents or do they migrate at all. What are the nest materials? Does anyone know how long they live, and who would their predators be.

This is all information I need for an essay about these birds to accompany a photo of a nest, which was built inside an abandoned wild honeycomb.
