• » Hike to the Almendro Tree

  Hike to the Almendro Tree - 3 hrs. or Mountain Bike in Chilamate - 2 hrs.

  The Selva Verde Reserve is home to an ancient almendro tree – nearly 600 years old! Almendro trees are increasingly endangered and are a vital food and nesting resource for the Great Green Macaw. Explore the depths of Selva Verde rainforest with a naturalist guide and traverse jungle trails en route to this amazing specimen.

  Join an experienced biking guide on a day full of adventure as you tour the back roads of the Sarapiqui. Explore the small communities and rural life of the Sarapiqui on dirt and gravel roads. If weather permits, and you are physically fit, your guide will take you on paths leading to remote forests in search of monkeys, iguanas, and birds. Mountain bikes and helmets are provided.

• » White Water Rafting

  White Water Rafting - 2 hrs.

  The white water stretches of the Rio Sarapiqui are some of the most beautiful in Costa Rica. Enjoy high adventure and gentle floats as you navigate the river with our professional river guides. A preliminary safety orientation will prepare you for the challenges you'll face on the water. Keep an eye out for the diversity of wildlife seen at the river's edge in between Class II-III rapids.

• » Canopy Zip Line

  Canopy Zip Line - 2 hrs.

  

  Enjoy the thrill of winging your way through the canopy of the rainforest! La Linda zip line adventure consists of 15 zip lines criss-crossing tropical rainforest, ornamental gardens, and the magnificent Rio Sarapiqui. Throughout your adventure, you will be accompanied by experienced guides, using specialized equipment of the highest quality.
